Golf fans from across the globe are set to gather in Gleneagles for the anticipated The 2014 Ryder Cup which takes place from the 23rd – 28th September. In celebration, The SSE Hydro in Glasgow will play host to The 2014 Ryder Cup Gala Concert on Wednesday, 24th September. At the concert, visitors will be witness to an inspiring production display and spectacular performances by Jake Bugg, Texas, Twin Atlantic, Nina Nesbitt, Eddi Reader and Midge Ure. These artists will come together with the Scottish Ballet, RSNO, NTS and Scottish Opera for an evening to remember.
The concert is a signature event within the Homecoming Scotland 2014 programme and celebrates the start of The 2014 Ryder Cup; a much-anticipated event in the sporting calendar, as this year The 2014 Ryder Cup returns to Scotland for the first time in more than 40 years and only the second time in its history.
